Mr Sanjay Chamria

A first generation entrepreneur, Mr Sanjay Chamria is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Magma Fincorp Limited (Magma) one of India's leading non banking companies with assets under management of over Rs 9390 crore, pan India presence with 153 branches in 21 states and a 'live' customer base of over 2 Lac. Mr Chamria heads Magma's growth plans with strategic policy formulation and execution, driving new business initiatives and guidance on day to day affairs of the company. Under his dynamic leadership and direction, Magma has grown at a CAGR of about 34% during the past five fiscals - highest in the industry.

Mr Chamria has held several positions in the industry in the past 20 years. He is a former Chairman of Hire Purchase & Lease Association of India. He has led many industry representations to the Government, Reserve Bank of India and various standing committees. He is on the FICCI task force on NBFCs. He is also a managing committee member of Finance Industry Development Council (FIDC).

Mr Chamria regularly presents his thoughts on the BFSI industry forums, both in India and abroad.
