Creativity At It's Best At Magma Painters' Workshop

Pune, 3rd December, 2010: Maharashtra has given birth to many a talent in the fields of literature, art and culture. To promote and encourage art and upcoming talented artistes of the city, Magma Fincorp Limited, India's leading retail finance company is holding a two day Painters' Workshop at a city banquet.
The Magma Painters' Workshop, which began today, has 10 promising city artistes colouring the canvas with their unique imagination. The workshop was graced by renowned actress Sharvari Jamenis.
"Magma has always encouraged and nurtured talents in the field of art. We are holding Magma Painters' Workshop for the past few years in Kolkata and decided to take this activity on a national level. Kochi was the first place, beyond Kolkata, where first held this workshop and today. We plan to take the workshop to other part of the country too and provide a platform to the young artists a chance to showcase their talent", said Mr Rajesh Dhage, Zonal Sales Head Magma Fincorp Limited.
The participating young artists are Amruta Umpadhye, Swapnali Shinde, Amruta Suryavanshi, Janani Kakarparthi, Sham Rathore, Datta Sonawane, Uttara Bramhe, Vijay Gaikwad, Swapnil Wagh and Shewta Barate.
